About Me
Hello! My name is Emily Norton McMullin. I am really looking forward to working with you this year as the elementary school counselor at UTVA!
I graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation in 2005, and I completed my Master’s degree in School Counseling at the University of Phoenix in 2008.
I love my family! I have five awesome kids and I love adventuring and running on mountain trails with my husband, Evan. I also love strawberry lemonade, BBQ brisket, and making apple pie.
As a school counselor, I will lead your students in social and emotional learning guidance lessons each month, I’ll teach skills-based counseling groups, and I’ll meet with students on an individual basis to help them overcome burdens and difficulties so that they can succeed in school. I’m also an advocate for families going through tough experiences.
